About ECR Executive Coaching
Eileen Cook Rieder got her start in education, with an undergraduate degree in special education, focusing on behavior modification and change. She has a master’s degree in both educational leadership and curriculum and instruction. Proudly serving as a school principal, Eileen led district-wide learning initiatives for multi-age and developmentally appropriate learning in all curricular areas. She has worked as a consultant to both public and private schools supporting leaders as they endeavor to meet the challenges within education. Always passionate about creating a culture that supports personal and professional development, Eileen also co-founded and co-owned several small businesses in the healthcare and wellness field, helping guide these businesses from startup to thriving. Through these entrepreneurial endeavors, she quickly (and sometimes repeatedly) learned the challenges and rewards of business development.
Eileen received her executive coaching certification from the Hudson Institute and is also credentialed through the International Coaching Federation. “Coaching is a passion for me. It allows me to bring together the various strengths and talents I have developed over the course of my career,” she explains. “In coaching, I am able to apply my understanding of behavior change, professional development and business development as I genuinely listen to understand, remain curious and engage authentically with clients.”
When not working with clients, Eileen loves to spend time with her four children and enjoys travel, golf and tennis. Eileen loves to cook and perhaps her best nights have been spent with family and friends enjoying good food, good wine and plenty of good laughter.
How Do We Get Started?
Every client engagement starts with a chemistry call. This is an opportunity for us to spend time getting to know one another to be sure that we have a connection, as this will support the work we will endeavor to do. Once we agree to work together, we will discuss engagement options and draft a proposal that we believe will best meet your desired outcomes. Generally, engagements are 6 or 12 months. We meet every other week for 60 to 90 minutes either in person or via video conference, depending on your preferred method of communication.
